Product Description of Working on the Work: Making Student Engagement Central: "Working on the Work" is a framework based on the research of the Schlechty Center for Leadership in School Reform and that incorporates key components of school leadership and teacher planning to result in engaged classrooms. This framework has transformed schools from organizations that produce compliance and attendance to those that nurture attention and commitment. Along with transforming schools, the framework has changed ordinary classrooms from ones where students are merely compliant into learning environments where students are engaged and enthusiastic about academics.
