In Applied Differentiation: Making it Work in the Classroom, teachers learn how to take differentiation from a philosophy to a practice. Experts Gayle Gregory and Cindy A. Strickland join with successful teachers from around the country to show your educators how differentiation can become a reality in their classrooms. The training introduces practical tools and easy-to-use maps to help your teachers implement differentiation. The first step in differentiation is getting to know each student and their learning profile. Next, teachers must plan lessons with differentiation as a key objective. Through group training and specific worksheets and activities, teachers learn how to accomplish both these steps without feeling overwhelmed by the challenge of differentiation. As well as learning segments for teachers, our program includes segments specifically designed for administrators. These segments will help administrators formulate a program to implement differentiation in their schools by both explaining principles and showing real schools where differentiation has been effectively applied.
