Learning 360 Framework
Implement with Fidelity for Dramatic Increases in Student Learning and Achievement
School Improvement Network has aggregated the key research on teaching and learning into a single and powerful framework: Learning 360 Framework. When all the best of what research shows to be most effective is working together, the increases in student learning and achievement are dramatic. In the Learning 360 Framework classroom, students retain learning because teachers make the learning meaningful and relevant to the students, and instruction stimulates high levels of thinking. Students are self-directed, responsible for their own learning and achievement, and they learn to think and problem solve at high cognitive levels.
-
Learning targets are rigorous, relevant, and concept-based
-
Assessment is purposeful, aligned, and growth-producing
-
Elements and strategies are effective and engaging
As External Partners, Our Certified Learning 360 Framework Coaches and Trainers Focus on Building Your School Capacity:
-
Student learning and achievement through successful implementation of the Learning 360 Framework
-
Building instructional leadership capacity for sustainability and continuous improvement
-
Establishing a highly effective, job-embedded professional learning system
Teachers learn how to use instructional strategies to hit learning targets aligned to state standards, make instruction intentional, and engage students immediately in learning at the start of each and every lesson. Administrators and other leaders receive training to become instructional leaders capable of guiding their school to success. Teachers and leaders consistently participate in exemplary modeling of each instructional strategy and practice until they are highly proficient at using them in the classroom. Unlike other school interventions that often do not yield significant results, the Learning 360 Framework is a results-driven process focused on building internal capacity and sustainability to enable schools and districts to maintain and continue improvement on their own.
