Dr. Willard R. Daggett is the founder and president of the International Center for Leadership in Education. Dr. Daggett is recognized for his ability to move education systems towards more rigorous and relevant skills and knowledge for all students. He has helped many states and districts with their school improvement initiatives, often in response to the No Child Left Behind Acts Adequate Yearly Progress provisions. He has worked with education ministries in several countries and with the Council of Chief State School Officers, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the National Governors Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and many other prominent national organizations.

Dr. Daggett has hands-on experience in education from his work as a teacher and administrator with the New York State Education Department.
