    Dr. Bruce A. Marlowe is an Associate Professor of education psychology and special education at Roger Williams University. He is an expert in constructivism, a teaching approach that emphasizes focusing on the learner instead of the subject.

    Dr. Marlowe has taught at the elementary and secondary levels as well as at the university level. He is the co-writer of Creating and Sustaining the Constructivist Classroom and is the co-editor of Educational Psychology in Context: Readings for Future Teachers and of Educational Foundations: An Anthology of Critical Readings.

    Dr. Marlow earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Catholic University of America, where he also completed two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychological assessment.
