Robert Hanson
Dr. J. Robert Hanson is an internationally recognized authority on psychological types and learning profiles. Dr. Hanson is the founder and president of J. Robert Hanson, Sons and Associates, Inc., and for more than thirty years, he has been providing professional development to educational systems on topics such as learning styles, teaching styles, teaching strategies, and curriculum design and assessment.
Dr. Hanson has served as manager of educational research and evaluation for the RCA Service Company, as general manager of educational planning for RCA corporate staff, as a high school teacher and administrator, and as an elementary school principal. He has consulted with school systems and state and federal departments of education throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
Dr. Hanson earned a B.A. with honors in Sociology and Dramatic Literature from the University of Nebraska, M.A. degrees in History, Theology, and Computer Science from Yale, the University of the South, and Columbia, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Columbia.
