Fenwick English

Dr. Fenwick English is the R. Wendell Eaves Distinguished Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Dr. English has served in a variety of positions in both elementary and secondary education, including assistant principal, middle school principal, coordinator, director, assistant superintendent, and twice as superintendent of schools in New York.

Dr. English is recognized as one of the top speakers in the field of education.  He was named a Distinguished Professor from the National Academy of School Executives and an Outstanding Consultant by ASCD.  He is a prolific writer and has authored or co-authored over 20 books and 100 journal articles. 

Dr. English earned his B.S. and M.S. at the University of Southern California and his Ph.D. at Arizona State University.
